Job summary

ContactLink Solutions LLC seeks a skilled Amharic-English interpreter for a fully remote, full-time contractor role in the United States. You will interpret accurately between Amharic and English, maintaining confidentiality and following the interpreter’s code of conduct.

Work from home with independent onboarding, earn by monthly payments, and support clinical communications using healthcare terminology. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Amharic.
• Based in US.
• Minimum 3 year of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology)
• Participate in internal professional training
• Communicate and report to your team leader
