Job summary

Think Academy US is seeking remote Math Competition Tutors to teach and support students preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10. You will deliver online one-on-one lessons in English, focusing on problem-solving and competitive math strategies.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a math-related field, with experience in math competitions or competition teaching. Mandarin bilingual skills are a plus, and availability includes weekday evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in a math-related field is preferred.
Experience in math competitions or competition tutoring is highly preferred.
Strong math foundation with familiarity with AMC/AIME/MathCounts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver online one-on-one math lessons focused on AMC 8 and AMC 10 preparation.
Teach in English using interactive problem-solving methods to develop analytical skills.
Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies.
Help students build systematic approaches to number theory, algebra, counting, probability, and geometry.
Support students in developing confidence and test-taking strategies for math competitions.
Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance for continuous improvement.
