Job summary

HR-Work seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to support a remote alarm rationalization program across GMP-regulated pharmaceutical operations. You will analyze, configure, test, and validate alarms while collaborating with Automation, Process Engineering, Operations, Quality, EHS and Technical Services teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on DeltaV and/or Rockwell PLC/HMI experience, strong data analysis skills, and familiarity with change controls and GMP data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in Automation, Controls, or Process Control within manufacturing.
• DeltaV and/or Rockwell Automation PLC/HMI systems experience preferred.
• Alarm management or alarm rationalization knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for alarm configuration within Rockwell PLC/HMI and DeltaV systems.
• Extract, consolidate and analyze alarm data to identify nuisance alarms and improvement opportunities.
• Lead alarm rationalization activities across manufacturing, utilities, and related operations.
• Coordinate and manage change controls for alarm modifications in the electronic QA system.
• Develop and maintain alarm rationalization documentation and master alarm database.
• Provide troubleshooting for PLC/HMI and DeltaV alarm issues.
• Support testing and validation activities for implemented automation changes.
