Eliassen Group seeks an AI Strategy Director to define and lead an enterprise AI vision for a global organization. Reporting to the CIO, you will set priorities, identify high-value opportunities, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable impact.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. You will work remotely on a W2 basis, collaborating with data science, engineering, and IT teams to influence strategic directions at the executive level.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology strategy or IT leadership, with 3+ years in AI/ML.
• Proven track record in shaping AI strategies in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of AI architectures, data pipelines, governance.
• Ability to present strategic and technical concepts to executives.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnerships.
• Familiarity with regulatory, ethical AI considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own our client’s AI strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify and prioritize AI use cases with clear success metrics.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and foundation models for enterprise adoption.
• Partner with data science, engineering, and IT teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Oversee governance, compliance, and ethical considerations for AI initiatives.
• Define infrastructure and resource requirements for AI development and deployment.
• Establish frameworks for model lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.
• Advise senior leadership on AI trends, regulatory changes, and competitive positioning.
