Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an AI Solutions Architect for a contract, remote role. You will embed with a solution team to deliver AI-native capabilities, building production-ready vertical slices and reusable platform features atop an AI middleware stack.

The work emphasizes evaluation discipline, governance, and scalable patterns across LLM features and tool calling. You will guide engineers and product managers, drive decisions on AI vs deterministic approaches, and ensure delivery of features

• Shipped LLM-powered functionality to production users

Responsibilities

• Co-build production vertical slices with solution team engineers, including LLM features and RAG integrated with AI middleware
• Own evaluation engineering with golden datasets, rubrics, LLM-as-judge, and CI/CD gates
• Design and build reusable platform capabilities on the AI middleware and guide teams through onboarding
• Decide when to use generative AI vs deterministic approaches
• Support discovery and shaping through a Catalyst-style program from pain-point to first working slice
• Implement model routing, guardrails, observability, and cost controls
• Coach engineers and PMs on AI-native software patterns
• Produce durable artifacts like architecture notes and runbooks
