Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Product Engineering Intern to help build AI-powered security systems that protect organizations from cyber threats. You will implement a minimal version of Vellox Responder integrated with Tines for autonomous threat defense, working in production security environments.

You will collaborate with security operations teams, implement autonomous remediation workflows, and ensure audit-ready AI agents under Layer One governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python programming for automation and API integration.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON data processing.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and SOC concepts.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring 2027 or 2028.

Responsibilities

• Implement autonomous security remediation workflows and AI agents in production security environments.
• Integrate threat information from Vellox Ranger and orchestrate response actions via Tines.
• Ensure AI agents are audit-ready using Layer One governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with security operations teams to develop AI-powered security systems.
