Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a Lead AI Security Operations Engineer to shape the security design and operation of autonomous AI systems across IT and OT. You will build and run an advanced SOC with AI-powered detection, secure executive workflows, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen enterprise cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include threat hunting focused on AI misuse, integrating SIEM/SOAR with PKI, and developing robust security guardrails for resilient operations in a borderless enterprise

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Information Security with AI/security focus.
• Experience operating advanced SOC or AI-driven security environments.
• Experience in IT/OT environments, including ICS/SCADA.
• Strong threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, and cloud security.
• Hands-on with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and enterprise log analysis.
• Proven AI red teaming or security guardrails experience.
• Vulnerability management and PKI management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate an AI-enabled SOC for IT, OT, and AI systems.
• Deploy AI-driven detection, triage, and response capabilities.
• Integrate SIEM/SOAR and AI analytics for detection and response.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive controls.
• Develop and maintain security playbooks and AI-assisted workflows.
