IvyOnline, Inc. is seeking a part-time AI & Quantitative Finance Research Intern for remote work. You will assist in experimental design, data analysis, and academic writing on LLM reliability and time-series modeling.

Ideal candidates are UW–Madison students in quantitative fields with strong Python (PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy) skills and familiarity with ML concepts; flexible 10–15 hours weekly with midterms and potential conference-ready work.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled UW–Madison student in Computer Sciences, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with financial time-series analysis, econometric models, ML or LLM prompt engineering is desirable.
• Self-motivated with modular Git-based workflows and ability to troubleshoot code.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and academic writing for AI/finance research.
• Assist with projects that may lead to submissions to AI/FinTech conferences or workshops.
