Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain what went wrong in writing.

Contributors review prompts, rate quality and realism, and help improve AI systems. Earn up to $18 USD/hr with additional incentives and free access to leading LLMs.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfortable with natural conversation.
• Strong attention to detail; patient to look and listen closely and replay or zoom in.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zoom, replay) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flicker, or audio-video mismatch.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing detailed explanations in English.
