Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible-hours basis. You will supervise live conversations with AI voice models, compare paired media, and explain what’s off in writing, helping shape how AI systems reason and improve.

Contributors can work from home or while traveling, with weekly payments and access to leading LLMs. Open to applicants in several countries, including the United States and Canada.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or above is nice to have.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural and useful each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio/video.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise English explanation of findings.
