Job summary

You will work with domain experts to observe workflows, model processes, and design multi-step agent orchestration with evaluation against expert baselines.

The role emphasizes building AI-native pipelines, HITL strategies, and safe deprecation of legacy tools while ensuring production-grade reliability and auditability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years in software/AI engineering with 2+ years building LLM-based or agent-based systems.
  • Experience extracting tacit knowledge from domain experts.
  • Experience designing and deploying AI agent orchestration (multi-step, tool-using, evaluation).
  • Strong systems thinking and end-to-end process modeling before coding.
  • Track record of replacing legacy systems without disrupting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, deconstruct, and re-implement high-value manual processes using AI agents and automation.
  • Embed with domain experts to observe and document actual workflows.
  • Design multi-step AI agent workflows and define tool-use patterns.
  • Build evaluation frameworks comparing agent output to expert baselines.
  • Implement confidence-gated escalation and HITL where appropriate.
  • Architect HITL topology with escalation thresholds and audit trails.
