Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a Video Editor and Producer to lead AI-driven performance ads. You will craft high-volume, converting video content for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, blending UGC, AI avatars, and stock footage.

Collaboration with strategists and media teams, plus scripting and concept work, are core parts of the role. You’ll drive creative strategy, ensure ad quality at scale, and leverage AI tools to accelerate production while maintaining brand performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of video editing experience, incl. 2+ years on paid social for DTC/eCommerce.
• Proven AI-powered ad creation experience with a portfolio of AI ads.
• Portfolio includes high-volume paid social ads with measurable results.
• Strong written and spoken English; able to present ideas and take feedback.
• Experience with AI video tools (Veo, Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Arcads, ElevenLabs).
• Expert in Premiere Pro or CapCut; After Effects/DaVinci a plus.
• Ability to write direct-response scripts and hooks; understanding performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Performance Video Editing – turn briefs into 9:16 to 16:9 ads that convert.
• Creative Strategy & Scripting – develop scripts, hooks and briefs with strategists.
• AI Video Production – generate AI assets, avatars, voiceovers, and escalate realism.
• Iteration & Testing – create variations and analyze metrics to improve ads.
