Job summary

Sephora invites you to join the Intern, Technology, AI Platform Infrastructure, within the Cloud, Infrastructure & Platform Engineering team. You will help turn AI platform concepts into tested infrastructure patterns, automation, and documentation, while learning from experienced engineers.

This 10-week paid internship runs June 14–August 20, 2027, with 36 hours per week, Pacific Time. You will gain hands-on experience across cloud, DevOps, and AI workflows, and have opportunities to present

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s in a technical field.
• Foundational programming in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bash.
• Basic understanding of Linux, networking, APIs, Git, cloud, containers, or CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to break down problems and communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interest in AI infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud, DevOps, or distributed systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, IaC/CI/CD tools, containers, observability, or AI/ML platform tech.

Responsibilities

• Learn AI platform architecture and define measurable criteria with stakeholders.
• Build and test infrastructure proof of concept using IaC and automation.
• Instrument solution with logs, metrics, traces, or dashboards.
• Evaluate reliability, cost and scalability; document findings.
• Present outcomes and lessons at internship culmination.
