Job summary

Modus Create is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms that enable client teams to ship faster with confidence. You will work embedded within cross-functional product teams, own platform deliverables, advise on architecture, and help unblock teams.

You’ll deploy pipelines, observability, and security for AI infrastructure, including LLMs and vector stores, while collaborating with DevOps, security, and product leaders to scale engineering

Qualifications

• 3–8 years hands-on platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, vector databases, or AI model serving.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
• Understanding of AI security: prompt injection, data governance, model monitoring.
• Strong proficiency with one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and secure AI infrastructure (LLM serving, vector stores).
• Design, implement, and operate cloud architectures across dev, staging, production.
• Build deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code; automate and observe.
• Support AI deployment patterns; collaborate with security and product teams.
• Stay on-call for platform reliability and incident response.
