Simple Technology Solutions is hiring an AI Platform & DevSecOps Engineer to own environments, pipelines, and controls in federal settings. You will build and operate DEV/TEST/TST and STG/PRD environments on AWS using Terraform, automate CI/CD gates, and act as release manager across multiple environments.

You will secure AI workloads, generate compliance evidence, and support ATO processes. Remote role with occasional client-site travel; DC metro preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps/platform engineering on AWS.
• IaC with Terraform across multiple environments.
• Experience with federal or regulated system authorization (FedRAMP/RMF/ATO/CJIS).
• Expert Terraform and AWS skills across multi-account setups.
• Experience securing and operating AI services (Bedrock).
• Strong CI/CD, automated tests, artifact and secret management.
• Scripting with Python or TypeScript.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain the STS standard environment set (DEV/TST in nonprod, STG/PRD in prod) on AWS using Terraform.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with automated tests, security scanning, and promotion gates.
• Act as release manager, coordinating releases and maintaining release notes.
• Secure AI workloads on AWS with guardrails, controls, and cost management.
• Generate security and compliance evidence for FedRAMP/NIST 800-53/CJIS; support ATO.
• Implement observability, tracing, metrics, and cost monitoring across environments.
• Administer Claude Code accounts and AI tooling; connect Jira, GitHub, and pipelines.
• Provide AWS platform engineering on client engagements using landing zones and best practices.
• Automate processes between requirements and end-to-end testing; document and coach.
