Job summary

Zaruda LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer for AI-native .NET development. You will design and ship production applications using AI-assisted coding tools as a core part of your workflow, not just experimentation.

Strong ownership of backend services and delivering scalable, production-ready software is essential. The role emphasizes collaborative pairing/mob programming (~4–5 hours daily), Azure DevOps CI/CD, and delivering REST APIs and microservices with C#, ASP.NET Core,

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI-assisted development with tools like Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf.
• Explain how AI enabled production-quality code, refactoring, and tests.
• Strong production experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, SQL Server, testing.
• Own backend services and deliver scalable, production-ready apps.
• Collaborative pairing or mob programming daily (4–5 hours).

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Develop REST APIs and microservices
• Use AI-assisted development tools throughout lifecycle
• Refactor and modernize existing applications
• Diagnose complex technical issues and create tests
• Participate in pair/mob programming
• Code reviews and contribute to standards
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, QA, and developers
