Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

As part of Outlier's evaluation loop, your insights help shape how advanced AI systems reason and perform in the real world. This freelance role offers flexible hours and weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to explain findings clearly in writing.
• Comfortable in live AI conversations and judgment tasks.
• Bachelor's degree or above is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
