Job summary

Obvious is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to craft AI-native infrastructure that powers our engineers and agents. You will own deployment pipelines, model-serving backends, and observability, building tooling to reduce toil and increase reliability.

You will shape the internal platform with a product mindset, ensuring fast feedback loops, robust telemetry, and scalable, resilient systems in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Must have real infra as product experience, ideally in AI/LLM contexts.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and Kubernetes internals.
• Strong Terraform skills and infrastructure as code mindset.
• Hands-on with observability tools and on-call responsibilities.
• Product mindset for internal development tools and developer productivity.

Responsibilities

• Make deployments boring and reliable by improving pipelines and tooling.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, reduce build times and flakiness.
• Evolve Kubernetes deployment strategies for reliability and speed.
• Build and harden infra for model serving and agent tooling.
• Extend telemetry with instrumentation, dashboards, and guardrails.
• Create meaningful alerting and reduce noise.
