Alvys Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Data & AI to lead the engineering group behind Foundry, Insights, Intel, and Voice.

You will own the team's technical strategy, delivery, and quality, and grow engineers while staying hands-on through prototyping, evals, tracing, and architecture reviews. The role emphasizes building AI-first solutions on a modern data platform with a team of eight engineers and a focus on production-ready systems, security, and cost-aware design.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a data/AI engineering organization.
• Experience shipping production ML/AI systems at scale.
• Strong background in distributed systems, data platforms, and cloud-native architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, including senior engineers and tech leads.
• Set technical strategy for agents, data, and the context graph; balance build vs. buy decisions.
• Own the agent development lifecycle from prototype to production and continuous improvement.
• Own the context graph linking loads, trips, carriers, drivers, customers, documents, and conversations.
• Ensure safety, isolation, and reliability with audit trails and cost controls.
• Spend time hands-on building about a third of the time and review designs deeply.
