DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses and verify the accounting behind them. You will discuss valuation assumptions, trace problems, and produce judgments that guide model behavior in real corporate scenarios.

The role focuses on three-statement modeling, DCF, and working-capital logic, with emphasis on clear, defensible explanations suitable for CFO-level review. Remote, project-based engagement with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: explanations should train models to be defensible.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.
