DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses against real corporate scenarios, verify valuation assumptions, and articulate the accounting behind them.

In this remote role, you will stress-test three-statement models, trace the reasoning to expose inconsistencies, and write the defensible analyses you’d present to a CFO. Compensation ranges up to $40–$125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Stress-test AI-built models on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, assumptions, and working-capital logic.
• Trace the reasoning to expose plugged numbers and unsupported conclusions.
• Write the defensible analysis when the model falls short: honest assumptions and CFO-ready numbers.
