Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote schedule. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video pairs, and explain what’s off, from home or while traveling.

Top contributors earn up to $15 per hour with additional incentives. You will access leading LLMs for free and participate in a flexible, asynchronous evaluation process that helps improve AI systems in real-world use.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or higher often preferred.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio mismatch.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a clear explanation in English.
