Job summary

Team Up is seeking a remote Machine Learning / AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI systems for real-world problems. You will work on end-to-end ML pipelines, from data preprocessing to model deployment, with a focus on robust, production-grade solutions.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of hands-on production ML experience, strong Python, and hands-on with PyTorch/TensorFlow, MLflow or SageMaker.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on ML/AI production experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience designing custom AI models.
• Experience with LLMs, NLP, or CV.
• Understanding of DL architectures, optimization, evaluation metrics.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, data pipelines.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and deployment platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud services for training/serving (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployment.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI systems for real-world applications.
• Build and optimize custom AI models for domain-specific tasks.
• Design and maintain data mining, data preprocessing, and labeling pipelines.
• Work with large datasets, including feature engineering and data preparation.
• Apply ML techniques across LLMs, NLP, CV, or other AI domains.
• Train, evaluate, optimize, and improve ML models.
• Develop and maintain model deployment and MLOps pipelines.
• Deploy and serve models using cloud platforms and containerized environments.
• Use Docker, Git, and relevant MLOps platforms in collaboration.
• Analyze model performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate technical concepts and project progress to non-technical stakeholders.
