Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking an AI Engineer to bridge machine learning, software engineering, infrastructure, and product development. This fully remote role spans the United States and involves building production AI systems.

You will own projects end-to-end, develop LLM-based solutions, and drive improvements across model integration, deployment, monitoring, and product delivery. Strong Python, ML fundamentals, and production delivery experience are desired.

Qualifications

• Strong ML fundamentals and neural networks.
• Experience training, fine-tuning, deploying models.
• Proficient Python; production-quality code.
• Experience with LLM prompts, tools, memory, agents.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI capabilities linking model intelligence with user experiences.
• Develop LLM systems with prompting, tool use, memory, agent workflows, multi-step execution.
• Turn probabilistic outputs into reliable app behavior.
• Own solutions across model integration, infra, deployment, monitoring, product delivery.
• Diagnose issues across model behavior, orchestration, infra, app logic, UX.
• Improve AI performance in quality, latency, cost, scalability, reliability.
• Develop evaluation methods using real-world signals for system improvements.
• Collaborate across product and engineering to turn challenges into scalable solutions.
