Job summary

Portless is hiring an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems for automated and optimized supply-chain operations at scale. The role focuses on AI/ML development for logistics and e-commerce use cases, with full responsibility for the ML lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of AI/ML experience, strong Python and ML framework skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and proven production deployment experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Experience deploying models to production.
• Must be authorised to work in the US (no sponsorship).
• Canada/Mexico candidates only if they already hold US work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI/ML models for logistics and e-commerce use cases.
• Work with LLMs, computer vision and predictive analytics.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship AI-powered features.
• Own the full ML lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment.
• Monitor and improve model performance in production.
