Job summary

Jobright.ai is seeking an Entry-Level AI Engineer to build intelligent systems that combine models, tools, workflows, and product data to power AI agents for the job search experience.

You will contribute with Python or TypeScript, design multi-step workflows, implement tool calling and data integration, and collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python or TypeScript programming skills.
• Understanding of AI, ML, or NLP fundamentals.
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems, and debugging.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Preferred: Experience building AI agents or tool-using LLM applications.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, workflow orchestration, or evaluation.
• Experience with cloud platforms or production AI systems; Interest in human-AI interaction and intelligent product design.

Responsibilities

• Build AI systems that combine LLMs, tools, APIs, and structured data.
• Design multi-step workflows for search, research, and personalization.
• Implement tool calling, retrieval, memory, and decision logic.
• Create evaluation and monitoring systems.
