Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy generative AI and agentic systems in cloud environments. You will work on LLM-based features, prompt engineering, and end-to-end ML projects, collaborating across teams to turn business needs into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AI/ML experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and familiarity with LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen. This is a fully remote role with quarterly travel to Washington, D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/DS/Engineering/Math required.
• 2+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering including LLM applications.
• Experience building agentic AI systems or related frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, Strands, AutoGen).
• Strong Python, SQL, and modern LLM stack knowledge; ability to evaluate AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic AI systems with autonomous decision-making.
• Lead end-to-end AI/GenAI projects from data prep to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop LLM features like RAG with citations and embedding pipelines.
• Design and optimize prompts for LLMs; work with Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama via APIs.
• Evaluate GenAI features with testing sets, grounding checks, and production-grade monitoring.
• Develop ML models in Python; deploy solutions in cloud and distributed environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide business decisions.
