Job summary

PayShepherd is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our Customer Success team. You will be the product expert and delivery engine, partnering with the Relationship Manager to deliver value across onboarding, adoption, and advocacy.

You will own the value attribution, drive adoption, and manage customer sentiment while collaborating across Product, Engineering, and leadership. This role supports remote work with occasional travel within Canada and the US.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Customer Success Management experience.
• Strong analytical skills with dashboards and data trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and nurture strong relationships.
• Eagerness to climb the AI proficiency ladder quickly.

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute on client value opportunities. Discover pain, find value, build the plan and deliver it.
• Understand what each client values at point of sale and beyond; stay attuned to product and user experience.
• Own value attribution and document it to the value vault; track savings, time, risk, and improvements.
• Advocate for the customer inside PayShepherd; create and follow up on idea tickets with teams.
• Drive adoption by understanding user needs and linking the platform to their priorities.
• Run a detractor management plan on every account and convert detractors to advocates.
• Build advocacy with ICs and managers and surface insights to leadership.
• Capture client referrals and references; turn advocates into case studies and referrals.
• Own client NPS; monitor sentiment with structured follow-up.
• Deliver implementations that create first value fast through config, training, go-live, and onboarding.
• Collaborate across teams to drive outcomes and keep focus on strategic delivery.
