Jobber is seeking a Manager, Credit Risk to lead a growing risk team within our Fintech arm. You will design risk policies, build models with Data Science, and embed controls across Payments and lending products.

This role emphasizes automation and AI-native approaches, requiring SQL and Python proficiency, and a data-driven mindset. You will partner with Finance, Product, and Customer Support to operationalize risk decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit risk within financial services, fintech, payments, or lending.
• Builder mindset with a track record of automation and tooling.
• Data-centric decision making with direct data work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python to analyze data and collaborate with teams.
• Knowledge of IFRS9/CECL or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross‑functional impact.
• Passion for fintech and risk management with adaptability to change.
• Autonomy and time management in a remote/hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of Credit Risk Analysts.
• Own credit risk operations end-to-end including underwriting and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Data Science to build and improve models and scorecards.
• Drive AI-native risk initiatives and automate manual processes.
• Partner with Finance, Product, and Customer Support to embed risk policies.
