Job summary

EY is seeking a Software Engineer to identify and define user requirements, focusing on UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will create software components and services that interface with upstream and downstream parts of the system, ensuring business needs are met through effective coding.

You will collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, travel may be required to meet clients, and you will work with colleagues across teams to deliver reliable software that scales with client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
• Experience building production scalable software systems preferred.
• Programming languages: 3-5+ years of experience with Java or C#.
• Frameworks: 3-5+ years of experience with Spring Boot, .Net or .Net Core.
• Nice to have: Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals.
• Experience with unit testing or TDD.
• Team player with strong communication skills across levels.
• Fast learner regardless of languages/tech.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements from clients to shape UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specs to support business objectives.
