Job summary

P-1 AI is deploying an AI engineer agent for the physical world, Archie, and seeks Forward Deployed Engineers to lead customer deployments. You will architect AI integrations, drive production readiness, and support customer missions with novel AI capabilities.

As a Frontline engineer, you will connect Archie to data sources, iterate until measurable value is delivered, and collaborate with experts to deploy robust AI systems in customer environments.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping data-driven or AI systems to production.
• Physical engineering background (automotive, aerospace, electrical, mechanical).
• Ability to build integrations between disparate customer systems.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and technical leaders.
• Experience in secure enterprise environments.
• Experience with live production troubleshooting and customer incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements across the Archie product lifecycle.
• Design and implement customer integrations to Archie.
• Fine-tune AI systems in production and evaluate data against criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop AI systems for customer tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in live deployments to improve reliability.
