Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Scientist (Masters) to act as an AI Data Trainer. This fully remote hourly contract role focuses on designing advanced data science challenges, authoring rigorous solutions, and auditing AI-generated code.

You will work independently on flexible, task-based assignments and refine model reasoning from the inside out. The ideal candidate has graduate-level training in data science or related fields, strong ML/DL/NLP foundations, and excellent writing of technical

Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or a quantitative field.
Strong foundational knowledge across supervised/unsupervised learning, DL, NLP and big data technologies.
Able to communicate technical concepts clearly in writing.

Responsibilities

Design advanced challenges spanning hyperparameter optimization, Bayesian inference, cross‑validation strategies, and dimensionality reduction.
Author ground-truth solutions with Python/R, SQL queries, and mathematical derivations.
Audit AI-generated code using libraries like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow for correctness and efficiency.
Refine AI reasoning by documenting and addressing data leakage, overfitting, and class imbalance issues.
Work independently on task-based assignments with flexible scheduling.
