Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to help build data pipelines powering model training and AI products. You will discover data sources, implement scalable pipelines, and ensure data quality and cost efficiency.

You will work with AI scientists to improve datasets and support next-generation models, taking ownership from discovery through delivery in a distributed, remote team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Discover new data sources and build reliable pipelines for training datasets.
• Build and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and models.
• Take ownership of projects from discovery through delivery and continual improvement.
