Speechify Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join our distributed AI team and build data pipelines powering model training and next-generation AI products. We create high-quality datasets at petabyte scale, combining engineering, infra, and research.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with backend focus.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building/operating production data pipelines and data processing systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous settings.

Responsibilities

• Discover new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines for training datasets.
• Develop and optimize large-scale data-processing systems for quality and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training data and next-gen models.
• Take ownership of projects from problem discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
