Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an AI Data Analyst & Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Chief AI Officer (CAIO) organization. The role blends data analytics, project management, and executive support across CAIO's AI initiatives.

You will collect and analyze data, develop dashboards, track priorities, and coordinate with leadership and technical teams to advance CAIO programs from planning through execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, BI, and performance measurement.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Ability to translate data into executive-ready recommendations.
• Experience with dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience coordinating across technical, policy, governance, and operations teams.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.
• Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and validate data from multiple AI programs.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for AI adoption and outcomes.
• Build dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities from data.
• Develop project plans, milestones, and schedules with CAIO leadership.
• Track actions, dependencies, risks, and deadlines.
• Coordinate across technical, policy, governance, and communications teams.
• Prepare executive briefings and decision materials.
