Outlier is offering a freelance, remote role where you review AI-generated media by holding live conversations with AI voice models, then assess and explain why outputs do or do not follow prompts. You’ll compare AI-generated images and videos, identify issues such as misalignment, artifacts, or audio mismatches, and document your findings in clear English.

The opportunity emphasizes flexible hours, remote work from home or while traveling, and payment on a 1099 basis.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in.
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree or above.
• Good at thinking on your feet and explaining realistic situations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
