Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers to build, review, and improve AI-generated code from a fully remote location. You will write solutions, evaluate AI outputs, and provide expert feedback to help AI coding assistants become smarter, safer, and more reliable.

This flexible contract role (10–40 hours/week) lets you work on frontier AI projects on your own schedule, with opportunities to influence how AI writes and reasons about code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to read, write, and reason about code with clarity and precision.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across multiple languages and problem domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Identify bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works or not.
• Design prompts and edge cases to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
