Job Title: Remote AI Automation Specialist(100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: ~$2,600- $3120USD/month ($15-18/hour)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Eastern Time

Job Overview

As they continue to grow, our client is embracing technology to streamline operations in their heating, cooling, and electric business and improve their service delivery. We're looking for an Automation Specialist to join our client's team and help us scale through smart, efficient systems.

We are seeking a tech-savvy Automation Specialist to support our operations team by developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated workflows using tools like Zapier, OpenAI and Make.com. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of process automation, be detail-oriented, and capable of turning business needs into reliable digital workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows and reporting using Zapier, OpenAI and Make.com to streamline internal processes such as scheduling, customer communication, lead handling, invoicing, and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to identify repetitive tasks and propose automation solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot existing automations to ensure consistent performance.
• Document workflows and provide training or support to team members on how to use automation tools.
• Integrate various platforms and tools such as CRM systems, scheduling software, email platforms, and cloud storage systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new automation tools or improvements to enhance business efficiency.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

• Proven experience with Zapier, OpenAI Make.com, or similar automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data mapping.
• Familiarity with common HVAC business tools (e.g., ServiceTitan, , Google Workspace, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-technical team members.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with scripting for custom automation logic.
• Background in operations, IT, or systems analysis.
• Experience in the HVAC or service industry.
