DataAnnotation is seeking an Accountant to evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs against real-world practice and provide expert, clearly reasoned answers.

You will write prompts, review model results for misapplied standards and arithmetic slips, rate reasoning, and supply correct solutions with full working. This role requires CPA/ACCA or equivalent, or extensive accounting experience, and excellent written English. Remote-friendly, US-based.

Qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent training, or professional accounting experience.
• Comfort across bookkeeping, financial reporting, or tax.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.

Responsibilities

• Write prompts that test how models handle bookkeeping, reporting standards, and tax scenarios.
• Review AI output for misapplied standards, arithmetic slips, and entries that don't reconcile, and rate the reasoning.
• Write the correct answer when the model falls short, with the working shown clearly.
