The County of El Dorado seeks an experienced compliance professional to lead agency-wide regulatory, privacy, and quality assurance efforts within the Health and Human Services Agency in Placerville, CA. The role focuses on HIPAA, Medi-Cal, Title IX and related programs, with oversight of audits, corrective actions, and external reviews.

Qualifikationen

• Combination of the required experience, education and training that would provide the essential knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Six (6) years of increasingly responsible professional Health or Human Services programmatic experience performing regulatory compliance, privacy, auditing, and program integrity.
• At least two (2) years must be in a public-sector Health and Human Services entity, and at least three (3) in a supervisory or management capacity.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, monitoring systems and corrective action plans to ensure adherence to federal and state requirements (HIPAA, Medi-Cal, Medicare/Medicaid, Title VI, IX, 42, Welfare/Institutions Code).
• Coordinate agency communications with federal/state regulators and support external audits.
• Lead compliance committee and provide guidance on regulatory expectations and best practices.
• Conduct and oversee audits, monitoring activities, investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Review and coordinate Business Associate Agreements and provider monitoring for regulatory alignment.
• Provide guidance to compliance staff to ensure consistent regulatory standards across divisions.
