Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with 2+ years of quality/industry experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Current QMS or Aerospace auditor accreditation from a recognized body (e.g., Exemplar, IRCA, Probitas).
  • Formal training in the current AS9100 revision in lieu of accreditation.
  • Experience performing on-site QMS audits and completing associated documentation.
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
  • Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight and out-of-state assignments.

  • Complete and submit audit reports, including documentation of nonconformances.
  • Issue Corrective Action Requests (CARs) through customer electronic systems.

  • Coordinate audit scheduling with suppliers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This is a part-time, on-call Quality Management System (QMS) Auditor position. The auditor will perform 2nd party audits of suppliers on behalf of our customers to ensure compliance with AS9100 and other quality standards. Travel, often out of state, is required and compensated. Work assignments are scheduled based on availability and audit timelines.
