Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspector to join a fully remote team. You will verify that manufactured components and assemblies meet AS9100 standards and aerospace specifications, ensuring safety and reliability across suppliers.

This remote role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in aerospace QA, with strong skills in inspection documentation, non-conformity handling, and corrective action.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in aerospace or aviation.
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and aerospace quality control methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components, materials, and assemblies against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Verify compliance with aviation regulations, AS9100 standards, and internal quality policies.
• Document inspection results, identify non-conformances, and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform audits of manufacturing processes and supplier quality systems to ensure adherence to protocols.
• Review and approve quality control documentation including test reports and certifications.
• Collaborate remotely with engineering, production, and supplier management to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
