Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer (Remote) to join an aircraft remastering and digitization program. You will interpret 2D drawings, assess BOMs, and navigate a CAD/PLM suite to convert drawings to advanced 3D models.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, an ABET-accredited technical degree, and familiarity with CATIA, CADRA, and 3DX in aerospace manufacturing contexts. Remote work with US project scope is available.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting 2D drawings and BOM, and navigating a CAD/PLM system.
• Preferred Sikorsky programs/tools: CATIA, 3DX, CADRA.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience and GD&T knowledge are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex drawings and specifications including GD&T.
• Compare legacy drawings to remastered models for accuracy and manufacturability.
• Document discrepancies and deviations with clear reporting.
• Complete review after designers' comments are incorporated.
