Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9102 First Article standards and related inspection criteria.
• Experience with DCMA inspection criteria and FAR Part 46 requirements.
• Ability to make first article, cosmetic, or production-line disposition decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and clear documentation.
• Proficient with digital reporting and remote collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate real-world aerospace, defense, and marine inspection materials under AS9102.
• Assess defects and document acceptance or rejection of findings.
• Conduct virtual surveys and provide input on hull and marine structures.
• Analyze inspection data to identify quality trends and support source-inspection recommendations.
• Apply DCMA protocols and FAR Part 46 to simulated Government Source Inspection scenarios.
• Deliver concise feedback and produce reports/datasets recording expert judgments.
