Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an Advisory Intern for its Advisory practice in Summer 2027. You will join infrastructure advisory engagements, supporting teams with insights on commercial, financial, funding, planning and policy topics for both public and private sector clients.

The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and applying analytical skills to case studies. Work location may vary (office or client sites) with potential remote elements as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing related degrees/majors.
• Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client sites as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Be a team member on infrastructure advisory engagements for public sector and private sector clients.
• Support engagement teams and clients with insights on infrastructure topics such as planning and policy.
• Contribute analyses for project planning, market demand, design, funding, and operations.
• Advise on transportation/mobility development strategies, real estate, broadband infrastructure, including PPPs and private funding.
• Support proposal development and creation of white papers and collateral.
• Participate in industry marketing initiatives; internship ends with a case study presentation to partners.
