Job summary

Ellucian is seeking an Advancement Functional Consultant to partner with higher education institutions, guiding them through discovery, configuration, testing, training, and deployment of Ellucian Advancement solutions. You will lead functional conversations and translate needs into practical configurations, serving as a trusted advisor across cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with project managers, product teams, and technical consultants to deliver successful implementations,

Qualifications

Experience in advancement or related functions across fundraising, alumni relations, and related operations.
Ability to translate requirements into functional configurations and workflows.
Strong facilitation and consultative communication skills with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand current-state processes and future-state solutions.
Translate customer requirements into Ellucian Advancement configurations and designs.
Configure, validate, and demonstrate advancement functionality for customers.
Deliver instructor-led and virtual training for functional and technical audiences.
Manage deliverables, milestones, risks, and status using Smartsheet or similar tools.
Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, and product teams to ensure successful implementations.
Document requirements, decisions, configurations, testing outcomes, and recommendations.
Mentor colleagues and contribute to reusable assets and delivery practices.
Travel up to 25% to support customer implementations and training.
