Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a software engineer for its Advanced Research team to develop and maintain cloud services and detection capabilities. You will work with Security, Data Science, Engineering, and Visualization experts to push innovative solutions that help stop breaches.

The role offers a remote-first, high-trust environment with opportunities to mentor, learn, and build technologies that enhance CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform, while periodically undergoing background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed cloud services.
• Strong understanding of scalability and RESTful patterns.
• Proficiency with multithreading concepts and production-grade services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Experience interacting with major cloud provider APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to communicate across functions and levels.
• Proven experience applying AI technologies to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work with industry-leading technologies like Kafka, Flink, Redis, ElasticSearch and Cassandra and LLMs.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the capabilities of distributed cloud services; keep services healthy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new capabilities into the Falcon platform.
