Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA) to join the remote care team on Tuesdays and Sanford, ME on Thursdays and Fridays. This part-time role is 22.5 hours per week, hourly non-exempt, represented by the MSEA union in ME.

You will deliver patient-centered reproductive health care, prescribe contraception, and provide counseling across services, including gender-affirming care, with EPIC as the EMR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree; licensed NP/CNM/PA in ME
• Experience in reproductive health care preferred
• Strong counseling and patient education skills
• Ability to discuss contraception, abortion options, and gender-affirming care

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional patient-centered care per PPNNE standards
• Assesses health status and prescribes contraception and GYN treatments
• Counsels patients on reproductive health, contraception, and gender-affirming care
• Performs reproductive system-focused exams and routine screenings
• Refers patients to physicians or other services as appropriate
• Accurately codes medical services to support revenue cycle
