Remote Adolescent Therapist

Monte Nido

East Coast Hours

Independent State licensure required CT/MA

Offering a $3,000.00 sign on bonus for Therapists with licenses in 3 states where Monte Nido provides services.

Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.

The Primary Therapist is responsible for a client caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. Will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. Collaborates with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan and assists in coordinating discharge planning. Has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the referral source and other services provided as needed.

This is a Full Time position with benefits working 40 hours/week, EST hours with 1-2 evenings

Salary range: $70,000.00-$80,000.00

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy

  • Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers

  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management

  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning

  • Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food

  • Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities

VIRTUAL EMPLOYEES: We have the same expectations for employees as we do for clients. We ask that you always have camera on and join from a private space free from other noises and distractions (e.g. not in car) when meeting with clients or joining a clinical staff meeting. You will need a reliable video conferencing setup including camera, microphone and stable, high speed Internet connection. You will also need to be prepared for a back-up in the event of technology failures. We also expect that you consider your personal appearance in much the same way you would if you were seeing clients in-person. You will also need to keep your background (behind the camera) clean and professional.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology or related human services field, preferably knowledgeable in Eating Disorders.
  • Two years of work experience in mental health field conducting individual and group therapy.
  • Independent State licensure: CT/MA
