Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health, social sciences, medicine, bioethics, history of science, or related areas.
• Must have teaching experience at the graduate or undergraduate level.
• If applying for a course focusing on global issues, global expertise is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Teach required number of credit hours per quarter
• Plan and provide instructional experiences that reflect an understanding of the philosophy, objectives, and curriculum of the program
• Provide instruction consistent with approved course descriptions
• Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes
• Maintain communication with the department chair and program director regarding any course or student issues
• Supervise a teaching assistant, if one is assigned to the course
• Perform other similar duties as assigned
